| Interested in medical interpreting but not sure if it's for you? This workshop will provide a basic orientation to medical interpreting, including what to expect when working in a medical situation and who the key players are. Using the perspective of a Hearing/Deaf Interpreter team, Leigh Haverty and Paul Hammer will cover four basic areas: hospital visits, routine doctor's appointments, surgery and mental health/detox.
