Target Audience:
Deaf mentors in the ASL and ASL/Interpreting Mentorship Programs

Prerequisites:
Must be a Deaf mentor in the ASL or ASL/Interpreting Mentorship Program
Description:
Gather with other mentors, ask questions, share feedback and receive support as you guide mentees on their journey to more proficient use of ASL.

About the Presenter
Terry Malcolm
Terry Malcolm, CDI, has been a Certified Deaf Interpreter since 1997 and Coordinator for ASL Mentorship for The Mentorship Program since 2007. She has mentored both ASL interpreters and Deaf interpreters for the past eight years, mentored educational interpreters in ASL for two years through the Educational Interpreters Mentorship Program, tutored hearing people one-on-one in ASL and taught ASL for families through MSADs Family Sign Language Program. In addition, she has worked for MCDHH as a Certified Deaf Interpreter since 2000. Terry enjoys working with individuals from a variety of linguistic and cultural backgrounds.
